A few years ago my summer wardrobe consisted of maybe two pairs of shorts that I rarely wore. I almost always chose shirts and dresses over shorts. They are comfortable and cute and I love them. But they just don't seem super practical these days. We're outside playing on a park and I'm chasing Addilyn up the stairs, down the slide or playing in the dirt. I wear them for church or days I know we won't be outside, but shorts are winning most days. Thankfully I feel like there are tons of cute shorts and they aren't all ridiculously short like I feel most were a few years ago. I found these shorts for $10 at Target last week and I love them! Now if only I could get rid of my mosquito bit, white legs and I'd feel a little better.

Love these! They look great and not like $10 shorts at all. Plus, I know what you mean about the inseam! This year and last, they are not board shorts (like a 7 inch inseam) but not too short either. I think 3-4 inches is perfect for my short frame, 5 for others. It used to be only 2 inches or less, which is just too little.
Cute!! I agree--dresses/skirts are not a good idea with a toddler--nor are white pants as you mentioned the other day. haha. I foresee a lot of yoga pants/sweats when I'm a mom! lol

These shorts are so cute and perfect for Summer!! I've been looking at some to add to my Summer wardrobe. I think they add a great touch to any basic top :)
