If it doesn't snow again . . .

Well we had some 70 some degree weather, which had me dreaming of summer, but yesterday it snowed, so I'll just put those dreams away from now.  I will be ready when it does come with the cutest swimsuit, coverup, fun earrings and maxi dress from Shein! Each one is under $20 and I love them!

Vacation ready

dress: c/o shein
Chris and I get to go to Vegas next weekend and I am SO excited! I got to join him last year for one of his work trips, extended into a little vacation for us and it was so much fun. I feel like it came up fast and I can't believe it's already April and we're so close to getting a mini vacation.  I'm hoping for lots of sunshine, yummy meals and uninterrupted time together.  I just got this dress and it is a perfect vacation dress, and all summer long dress.  It is so soft and comfy, has pockets and is only $19. It also comes in a ton of other colors and now I want another one!

I am short so I'd either have to wear some kind of heals, or just tie it at the bottom, which I think looks cute.  I also should get out my summer bins because I clearly need a pair of flat sandals to wear with it! No wonder it has so many good reviews - I love it!

I have never ordered a swimsuit from Shein, but decided I should give it a try and see if I could get one to take on our trip.  I LOVE it.  I just made sure to check out the reviews (and even if it didn't work out, $14 isn't too much to lose!) and picked this pretty floral one piece.

But thankfully I love it.  It has removable straps (which I would never take off, because the off the shoulder part is not tight enough to hold anything up!), and pretty good butt coverage in the back. And it feels comfortable and I feel like will be a good suit to wear this summer with the kids.

I can not wait for our trip.  Vegas here we come!

Give me all the buttons

 dress: c/o button down dress

This button down style is probably one of my favorite trends, in shirts or dresses and I love this new one.  I used to wear dresses all the time when I was teaching but little kids have made that not an option, one because I don't work and rarely wear dressier clothes and two because bending over in dresses to pick up your kids all the time does not go well! But as my kids are getting older I feel like that should get easier to wear them, right?? This one would be perfect for Spring and Summer and is under $20 (use code Q2forlauren for 15% off your order)!

Oops!

shorts: c/o shein   tank top: c/o shein

Well, a good month since I last posted anything.  Oops!  I definitely enjoy that I don't have strong feelings that I have to post in here or share stuff, but still like writing and posting outfits every once in awhile.  I would love to get back to more actual writing as I feel like lately I have more that I've processed and want to share, but kind of feel like Instagram seems like the main audience of anything, right?  Perhaps if nothing else though, an outlet to get some thoughts out.

We've had warmer weather here.  Warmer being 50, but it feels so wonderful.  The kids and I have been outside daily and we are all so much happier because of it.  Addi learned to ride her bike without training wheels and would stay out there all day if she could.  I'm so proud of her and it's fun watching her be so excited and proud too.

Warmer weather has been ready to spring and summer clothes, so I'm wanting to pack away my winter stuff and picked out some spring/summer things this time around from Shein.  (Even though yesterday it was 35 degrees, so I'm getting a little ahead of myself.)

These shorts or super cute and I love that they're soft and high waisted and they are only $8.

This tank top is perfect tucked into them, but is long enough it could be tied in a knot with regular shorts or teans, or even the back makes it long enough for leggings with a jean jacket or sweater for cooler weather now.  And it's only $9.  (Plus you can use code Q2forlauren for 15% off your purchase.)
