Summer Fun Sale

 lounge  set: c/o shein

It's been so hot here the last two days and I am not complaining.  Two weeks ago we had snow flurries and now it's 86.  Illinois weather is nuts!  I pulled out all my summer clothes, and got a new order in from Shein in perfect time!

Now that we're home so much I love lounge wear even more than before if that's possible.  Even better when it's matching.  This set is super cute and comfortable.  (And $24 for both.)

 dress: c/o shein

I own quite a bit of leopard printed things and think this dress is perfect.  It's $14 and lightweight.  It's definitely on the thinner side so could be perfect for a beach coverup.  Or with cute sandals or sneakers.

 jumpsuit: c/o shein

This is called a jogger jumpsuit.  Two of my favorite things.  Slightly on the unflattering side, but I do not care one bit.  And it has pockets.  Is cuffed at the bottom, which is great for my shorter legs.  I've already worn this a few times since I've gotten it.  $15 and you'll want to wear it all the time.

swimsuit: c/o shein

I've seen a lot of people post about this swimsuit and figured I'd try it out! I love, love the colors of it and the front.  I think my butt may be a little too big for most of the shein swimsuits I've tried. But this one has more coverage than other's I've tried.  And for $13 is worth it!

Remember when we used to get dressed and go places?

top: c/o shein   jeans: american eagle   shoes: old navy

Remember when we used to get dressed in real clothes? Bras? Jeans? Make-up? I feel like it's been insanely long and while I am all for leggings and workout clothes, and wear them a ton in normal life, I really do miss wearing actual clothes and feeling more put together.  So I was happy to try on my recent Shein order, even if I went back to sweats and leggings soon after.  This cute eyelash tee was my favorite, and is only $8.  I got a medium and it was long enough to tie, or tuck in easily.

tee: c/o shein  shoes: tjmaxx

This tee is super cute.  I love the bright colors and it comes in lots of other combinations and is only $7.  Will be great with shorts this summer or with my overalls!

cropped tee: c/o shein

I've spent some good time shopping online the last month, some real shopping and some just wishful shopping and many of my searches include tie-dye, cropped, biker shorts, neon.  Hello 90s? This top is cute, definitely cropped, but fine with my super high work out leggings.  If we ever get to go to classes again, I'd wear this to a yoga class.

button top: c/o shein   jeans: american eagle

Love the stripes, (fake) buttons, length and material of this shirt.  Looks cute tucked in or untucked and is only $8.  Wins all around!

jumpsuit: c/o shein

This may be the most unflattering item of clothing I own, but it also may be the most comfortable. The model in the picture is probably much taller than me, hence the incredibly baggy crotch on me. But who cares.  It's soft, the opposite of tight and clingy and perfect to wear when you can't ever go anywhere.

dress: c/o shein   shoes: target

Besides being a tad bit clingy I love this dress.  The print is so cute and it's not too short for my liking and is only $15!

Before the crazy - SHEIN bikini

 swimsuit: c/o shein

Remember two weeks ago when life was normal and things weren't completely crazy and unknown? We were planning on going to Jamaica in April (just Chris and I and our best friends) to celebrate our 15 year anniversary.  Shein sent me some swimsuits to review and I was planning on bringing them on our trip.  I'm so sad we're not going, but I know we'll reschedule and go someday, whenever that may be.  So here's some cute suits!  This first one was my favorite, little cheeky in the back but I feel comfortable in and love it.

 swimsuit: c/o shein

Love the top of this suit! These bottoms are my own from Old Navy because the others are a tad low for my level of comfort to put on the internet ;)  But I would totally wear them on vacation.  The top straps are adjustable which is necessary for my lack of anything up top!

swimsuit: c/o shein

I love, love, love the front of this swimsuit.  The back is super revealing of my behind, which I do not love.  I may still take it if we ever get to go on our trip, but I do wish it had more coverage.  I ordered a medium which is my true size, but maybe if I ordered a size up?

Either way I feel like Shein is a great place to order some suits from, as these are all under $15! Use code Q4forlauren for 15% off your order!

Stars, Leopard and Swimsuits

star shirt: c/o shein
leopard top: c/o shein
I may have a problem with stars and leopard prints.  How much is too much?  This star top is only $9 and the leopard $16.  I love the oversized fit of both of them!
dress: c/o shein
I love the color of this dress and would be perfect for any season, but let's hope warm weather and spring is close! Also I found these cute shoes at TJMaxx for $20 and I want to wear them everywhere once it's warmer.  They're so comfortable.  If only they'd stay this white!
 swimsuit: c/o shein
Swimsuits for $12? Yes please.  We're going on a beach trip in April and I can not wait so I wanted to try a few new swimsuits.  I got a few swimsuits from Shein last year and felt like that held up great and I loved how they fit.  This one is perfect!
swimsuit: c/o shein
I wanted to love this swimsuit because the colors are so cute and it looked adorable in the picture. Lesson learned - make sure there are more reviews and pictures with someone wearing it!  The front is great but the back is SO cheeky I would not wear it around any children.  Or maybe any people. But it does look cute if you had shorts or on a getaway with just your husband or if you have a tiny little butt.  ;)
tie dye top: c/o shein

This top is only $6, which is great if you're unsure of a trend.  Like tie dye or cropped tops.  Perfect for high waisted workout pants or jeans!

Happy almost Friday!!

Tie dye and crop tops

striped sweater: c/o shein     orange and cream sweater: c/o shein

Both these two sweaters are perfect for when the weather starts getting a little warmer, or you're just sick of all your thick winter sweaters.  The second one is on sale for $12 and I love the orange color.

purse: c/o shein

I've needed a new purse for awhile and love this one.  It's big enough to fit all the junk you have to carry around, has lots of little pockets and zippers at the top.  Plus it's only $20, and you can carry it by the handles or over your shoulder.

pink shirt: c/o shein

I love these ruffles sleeves!  It's such a cute top and comes in a few other colors too.

cropped hoodie: c/o shein

This top is $12 and had 10,000 good reviews so I figured I'd try it.  I'm supportive of the cropped tops if they are worn with the highest leggings or pants you own.  And this one is perfect to wear to the gym with my leggings that almost come up to my boobs.  Just how I like them.

tie dye sweatshirt: c/o shein

First cropped sweatshirts and now tie dye.  And I'm jumping right on the 80s bandwagon. This one is $14 and may be a little bright for winter, but I'm hoping it'll up my spirits since we haven't seen the sun in a million days.
