Have you ever asked your husband to close his eyes and tell you what you're is wearing?
Try it. In my case I'm not sure if Chris has ever been able to remember what I'm wearing. Which works out great in the sense that he could care less how I'm dressed, but not so great in his non observant skills.
This last weekend we went out to dinner for Chris' birthday and when Chris got home from work I was wearing sweats and a sweatshirt. I told him to take Addilyn so I could go change and he told me that I look great and thought that was what I was wearing.
This is what I was wearing.
Now my standards are quite low and would wear this in public, so maybe I can't blame him too much. But I do draw that line at not wearing pajamas out to a nice dinner. Especially on the rare occasion we go out for a date.
Not that it is anything new, but his opinion really can not be trusted in regards to fashion.

ReplyDeleteWell, my husband is quite the opposite - I cannot buy anything new without him noticing... He is VERY observant and there is some bad to it sometimes too... Sometimes I want to wear that huge statement necklace and he doesn't like it, and then we argue about it lol Other times I want his honest opinion but still wear what I want ;)

ReplyDeleteCute post! This made me laugh because my husband would probably have said the same thing (and his name is Chris too). Sometimes it's frustrating because I try to step it up a bit when we're going out together, even if it's with the kids. And if he doesn't notice it hurts my feelings. But on the other hand, it's nice to know that he thinks I look good even if it's a step above pajamas :)
