This weekend we went to an Easter egg hunt and it was one of the shortest, funniest thing I've watched. 50 toddlers in a roped off square with tons of Easter eggs laid all over the ground. Most of them had no idea what to do. Addi saw one open egg and went straight for it and wanted to eat the candy that second.
Attractive right? :) She had no desire to do anything but unwrap all the candy and eat as much as she could before we left. She may look more like Chris but she's certainly inherited my sweet tooth. Great quality to pass on, I know.
It really is so funny to watch a toddler egg hunt. They are SO slow, and basically only want one egg, and the parents are all around yelling, "over here! over here! go! go!" :)
ReplyDeleteHaha. Sounds like fun! I can't wait until next year when Caleb can participate in Easter Egg hunts!
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable!! All of the 1st holidays get the hype, but the second and beyond seem to be the most fun :) I'm looking forward to our first egg hunting experiences this week.
ReplyDeleteI love your scarf! I came *this* close to buying it! But seriously, your girl is the most adorable.
ReplyDeleteShe is definitely at a fun age. My Axle who is 4 was so excited to bring me his Easter Egg Hunt paper home from Preschool today. It's scheduled for Thursday and he can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is so cute!
So funny and cute! Our neighborhood just did an Easter egg hunt over the weekend and it looked very similar to what you just described ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look so great Katie. Love those jeans on you. This is adorable!! I love that she just goes for the chocolate. Smart girl. :)
ReplyDeleteSo funny! They look like they just threw a huge bag of them all over the place. Too cute ;) Easter will definitely be one of my fav holidays to celebrate w kids (when that time comes - hehe)!
ReplyDeleteThose little Easter egg hunts are so cute and hilarious! Addilyn looks very happy! I love your outfit. Simple and chic and those jeans look amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteLol this is so funny! At least she got that one egg!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! She knew what she was after, ha! Such a sweet girl (and PS the scarf you're wearing is beautiful!)
ReplyDeleteThat does sound hilarious! I can just imagine how confused most of the children were. I bet they were scrambling after one another, trying to figure out what to do with the eggs on the ground. Hahaha! At any rate, I sure hope next year's Easter egg hunt will be just as fun. Thanks for sharing that, Katie! All the best! :)
