Help me decide . . . .

pants: c/o  sheinside   tee: be still clothing company     shoes: target

I love these pants and wore them the other day as "real" pants.  Clearly still in tennis shoes and a t-shirt, but not as a workout outfit.  I've seen lots of cute pins wearing jogger pants with heels as a dressy outfit.  But I'm not sure I could do it.

So jogger pants as dress up or pretend workout pants?

I want to get some rainboots for Addilyn, since she loves being outside but Spring is so muddy.  I found these two pairs on Amazon and both are under $20, but I'd hate for them to be so cheap that her feet still get soaked, when I could spend $20 more and get cute, quality Toms rainboots.

But $40 on a pair of baby shoes? I don't think I can do it!  So cheap ones or expensive one?

I've started changing the wall in Addilyn's room.  I took down the tree decal and put up polka dot vinyls, but ran out three fourths of the way.  I love how it looks and just got the other ones so I need to finish.  I also wanted to add a picture or two to her wall and love these wall arts from minted but can't decide which one to get.

I LOVE both of them and love that you can pick so many different photos, yet I know I'll have a hard time narrowing it down to 30! You can pick what kind of frame you'd want and I love the distressed cottage white frame.

I also want one of these prints! I love the letter one and would use one of Addilyn's one year pictures, but also love the first year print and would use the monthly picture photos we took.

So heart shaped or love you to the moon photo collage?  And letter A or first year print?

Thanks for your opinions! Hope you all had a nice weekend!

  1. I bought my kids western chief rain boots off amazon and have been very happy with the quality. I like Eldon's a little more than Bristol's. Hers had buckles on the top instead of the loops. The buckles didn't last long. But for $25 they held up to our odd wet winter and Eldon declared him his everyday shoes for about 2 months. 3. Grr.... I don't think my comment published. So I'll just summarize it with my votes. :) if you feel comfortable/confident in heels with jogger pants you should go for it. If anyone could pull it off it'd be you. Rain boots- I don't think price makes a huge difference. My kids have all had hand me down or garage sale boots and have been just fine! It's fun to get cute ones but plain cheap ones work just as well. ;) Heart collage over the moon one. I thought the moon was the letter c and although I realized later it was a moon, I just couldn't get over that. And if you find a picture that fits nice I like it the letter a. Good luck deciding! Keep us posted. :)

  4. I've been looking into rain boot options and tiny umbrellas - do tell if you find a great option!! I hate spending $40 on kid shoes, but sometimes high quality items are worth it. I love the heart and the collage of 12 pictures.

  5. The moon shape is pretty darn cute :) I say if you're going to wear jogging pants wear tennis shoes and a t-shirt and don't wear heels and pretend like you're not wearing jogging pants. Let's get serious, people. Sometimes I think people on Pinterest wear strange things that aren't things normal people should be wearing in public. I.e. Leggings as straight-up pants with nothing covering your butt. No.

  6. i love the joggers on you!

okay in terms of rain boots - as a toddler preschool teacher, i have much to say about them :) some of the more basic boots make it very difficult for the toddlers to jump/walk/climb, etc. it might be worth the investment (if you girlies are out in the rain often), for her to be more stable on her feet. crocs makes a great boot, and they come in a variety of colors! the toms look pretty supportive, too!

  8. I'd probably go with the cheap polka dot shoes... But I just don't like buying kids clothes for much money so maybe you shouldn't listen to me. ;-)

  9. I've tried to make joggers work for work but I just can't make it happen. I would go for cheap boots since her feet will probably grow before you can get your money's worth. And I like the "first year" print.

  10. Love that shirt! How do Be Still Clithing Company's shirts fit? I've been wanting to order one but didn't know how they fit. Oh and about the rain boots I don't usually buy shoes that are two expensive cause my son goes through shoes too fast. Hope that helps!
