Addi says what

Image Map

While playing Little Red Riding Hood with Chris she said, " I'll eat you up, but I'll leave your face so you can still love me."

When Chris was out of town she was talking to him on the phone and said "I don't even remember what you look like but I still love you."

I told Addi and Isaac they were sweet and she said, "Yea we're such sweet little children."

Addi told me she wanted to stay up till 10:00 and I told her that was way too late and she said, "Listen to me woman!!"

After a trip to Target with just me, that ended with her wanting every single thing she saw and me saying no over and over, she was quite crabby.  Chris asked what we did and she said "Walked around buying stupid stuff," shrugged her shoulders and walked away.

The next morning Isaac was laughing at her and she was crabby and said "Stop looking at me with your stupid face."  (Needless to say, we had a conversation about the word stupid after this)

We put a big girl bed in Addi's room, but she doesn't want to sleep in it.  After a week or so I asked her when she thought she'd want to sleep in her big girl bed and she said, "Maybe when I'm four. Or I'll just sleep in my crib until I die."

She wanted to play TriBond with Chris (a very much adult level game) so they got it out and he started asking her the questions.  "This is so embarrassing.  I don't know the answers.  Let's put it away."

At bedtime to Chris, "Today is your last day to be alive.  Tomorrow you're going to be dead. You're going to be smashed flat."

  1. Ahhh so funny!! I would've kept my son in his crib forever but he kept climbing out of it. Of course, this was immediately after my second was born and I had already purchased a second crib. Grr.

  3. These posts are seriously my favorite! I can't wait for Hudson to start talking more so I can do these. Although I doubt he will be as fun as Addi is.

  4. It makes me feel better that Addi talks about dying. Olive is doing the same things... batteries dying, my parents dog dying, so much dying. Guess they're just curious and learning new things :) Addi is a funny one. Walking around Target buying stupid stuff haha that's a good one.
