DIY Chevron Bulletin Board

shirt: gap  shorts: jcpenney  shoes: tjmaxx tree necklace: here

This weekend I completed a project that I've been wanting to make for awhile.
A chevron inspired bulletin board for our guest room/craft room.
Here's the final product:

Supplies needed: painter's tape, sponge brush, acrylic paint and cork board
(I found a pack of four squares at Walmart for $6)

Use your painter's tape to cover the parts that you don't want to paint.
Make sure to have your boards lined up as you tape, so you make sure they match up.

(I started with blue tape but ran out and had green tape to use.)

Take your sponge brush, dip in paint and paint the stripes.  I did two coats on most of it.
Let dry and then peel your tape off.

I plan to fill it with more pictures, crafts/projects that I plan on doing, and some to do lists.

Super easy, cheap and I love how it turned out.
Some day when I finish more organizing and decorating our guest room/craft room I'll show you more than just this tiny part of the wall!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
