A friend in need
I know I've said it countless times before, but when I started blogging I never imagined that I would make real friends and would find true encouragement and support. When I started my blog I had no intention of sharing our struggles with infertility, but I can honestly say blogging become one of the biggest blessings during our struggle to get pregnant. I met so many other women who were going through the same thing. And it was so wonderful to be able to share such hard and painful things with others that understood.
One of the ladies that I met near the beginning of blogging was Jessah from Dreaming of Dimples. Jessah has been an encouragement to me in the past and I hope I can do the same for her. Her and her husband have been dealing with infertility for the last five years, and have gone through so much trying to get pregnant.
Jessah has gone through many different surgeries and procedures and has had many disappointments following each one. Dealing with the pain of infertility is hard enough, I can't imagine also dealing with the financial burden fertility treatments bring. Chris and I were beyond lucky to have great insurance that covered the majority of our treatments. Jessah and her husband are having to take on that responsibility on their own and have already spent so much money on each of the procedures she has had. They are going to have one more try at IVF, but are desperately struggling to meet the financial costs of everything. I know what a blessing the blogging community can be so I'm asking you to check out a fundraising page that Jessah's friend set up. I know even a little bit of help can take part of that burden off of them. And more than anything I know she'd appreciate your thoughts and prayers as they get one more try to get pregnant.
Jessah: I think about you and pray for you often. You are such a strong woman and I am so sorry you are going through such a painful season of life. I can't wait to hear about your miracle baby someday in the future.
Love Jessah. Great post. Fingers and toes crossed for her.
