Night Nurse

giraffe sweater: down east basics (only $12 right now!)   shorts: loft  sandals: target

The night times have definitely been the most stressful part of my day since having Addilyn.  She would much prefer to be held all night.  Which is why I am so thankful for my dad.  The last three Saturday nights he's come over to my house around 11 and just stays in our living room holding Addilyn.  She doesn't seem to care to sleep before midnight so he holds her until she falls sleep, stays with her and then brings her into me when she needs to eat.  He even changes her diaper, gets her swaddled up again and puts her back to sleep and stays till about 4 or 5 in the morning.

He is like the baby whisperer.  I jokingly called him my night nurse after the first time and I only wish that he was there every night!  It has definitely been a huge blessing to get a few good hours of sleep and not have to worry if she is happy and being taken care of.

Happy Wednesday!

Stripes on Stripes

tee: old navy   skirt: target   sandals: target

1.  If I wasn't so antsy and excited to buy and wear maternity clothes I would've looked for more things like this skirt.  I found it near the end of my pregnancy and wore it here, and love that I can wear it now.

2.  It's only necessary to tell you how much each of these things cost.
     Shirt: $4
     Skirt: $5
     Sandals: $5

3. I saw these sandals a month or so ago for over $15 and couldn't do it, as I have plenty of sandals.  Then I happily found them at Target last week for only $5.  Patience, patience, patience.

4. I tend to wear something over and over and have already worn these sandals the last three times I've left the house and will probably continue to do so.  So be prepared to see them often.

5.  I missed tying my shirt while pregnant.  Didn't work quite so well while having no waist or hips.  Please tell me this still fashionable?
