tweed vests, a baby scam and holiday music

vest: target   shirt: gap outlet  jeggings: walmart  boots: amazon

I'm usually really good at waiting until something goes on sale or on clearance before I buy it.  I have seen this vest multiple times and wanted it bad enough that I just may have bought it for $35 if I found it in my size earlier.  Thankfully I didn't, because once I did find it, it was $5 off and I had a $5 off coupon, so it was only $25.
I'm not much of a hat person but I really love this one.  I won it in a giveaway last year and I wish I could remember where it was from!

Chris thought it would be a good idea to enter Addilyn into a cutest baby contest.  You can vote for her here.  He also isn't aware of baby scams and thought it was a great idea to pay $15 to enter her into some talent agency something.  Needless to say I had to inform him that those things are scams and he wasted $15 of our money.  He is still convinced some talent agency is going to contact us and hire Addilyn.
I honestly spent many minutes trying to remember how old I am the other day.  How long can you get away with baby brain?

I wear much less jewelry these days since I'm not working, plus Addilyn will grab and try to eat anything in sight.  Which is said because I have quite the collection of statement necklaces and long necklaces that are going to waste! I would however like to at least wear earrings but need some smaller, nicer ones.  I've always wanted real pearl earrings and think I should own some one day.

I LOVE listening to Christmas music.  And sometimes the song O Holy Night makes me cry.  On the other hand when I hear the song Carol of the Bells I immediately start feeling anxious, and I picture myself running down an endless alley being chased.

Hope you are having a good week so far!
