Dear Lauren and Lauren,

dress: banana republic outlet  belt: old navy  necklace: world market

I went to World Market last weekend to buy Chris some olives, cheese and crackers for his birthday.
(Yep, we roll out the expensive gifts around here for birthdays.)

And I found this necklace for $6.00.  I love it!

I am SO excited for this wedding weekend ahead!

It's funny because I almost feel like I've been more involved in your wedding Lauren then in my own.  Maybe that's not true and maybe I don't remember well enough since it was seven years ago.  But I was also pretty much a baby when I got married and my mom helped me an unbelievable amount, so maybe it is true.

Either way I've been looking forward to this weekend for a long time!

Lauren I can't wait to see you and give you a huge hug tomorrow night.

Lauren in law you will make a stunning bride and I can't wait to see you marry my brother.

Getting to be with both of my Laurens is right up top on my happy scale.

Love you both!

Love,

Pajama Jeans and a giveaway winner

shirt: forever 21   Jeans: rue 21  shoes: dsw

No these aren't really pajama jeans, but I can only imagine this is what they feel like.
I don't think they could be any more comfortable and I may as well be wearing pajamas.
Plus I got them for $2.
Yep, I thought it was a mistake, as they were on a $7 rack, but I didn't argue.
So I basically got the comfort of pajama jeans for much cheaper, and I'm guessing they look a little better.

I also got a polka dot shirt, a sports bra and two pairs of underwear for $15 (jeans included) from rue 21 this weekend.  I've only been into that store a few times, but am pretty sure I will be going back again.

Oh and please ignore the fact that they are about 3 inches too long.  I should probably fix that soon.

Thank you everyone who entered my first giveaway!

cheap cheap

My post title makes me think of a bird, which makes me think of tweeting and then of twitter.
Which I don't do and still don't really understand how it all works.

Rather than my lack of knowledge in the social media department,
this post is dedicated to my serious skill of finding cheap clothing.

Shoes: $5 Kohls (a few months ago)
Shirt: $1.97 at Old Navy (a few weeks ago)
Belt: $1  The only item I've ever thrifted
Pants: Kohls (I don't remember how much they cost, my guess $15.)

I honestly need to find out how to make money doing this.

Want to hire me?

I just may be ready for a new profession.

Proud or embarrassed?

(cutting off my head was an accident - however for a Monday morning I'm perfectly fine not having my face in it.)

I'm not sure if I should be proud of this secret or embarrassed. Last week when I was doing some Christmas shopping I was looking in the girls' section at Target for my niece and found this dress. I am going to believe that it was labeled incorrectly and that is why it was only $3.50. I did however add the belt in hopes of looking more like an adult and less like a 12 year old. Needless to say I may start checking out the girls' section more often.
