Doubling Posting

sweater: kohls   jeans: gap   scarf: giveaway from    shoes: target

I don't know what I was thinking sharing two outfits yesterday in one post because I'm now left with nothing new to share with you today. So I am here, sharing the same outfits.  But that post really had nothing to do with my outfit, so I'm going to count it as acceptable.

And I can't imagine letting a good outfit go to waste these days, as it is getting harder in the morning to find something that I am (a) comfortable in and (b) doesn't look awkward.

Don't be fooled by these pictures.  My pants aren't buttoned in either one.

I am anxiously awaiting the cute pregnancy stage and not this awkward middle stage.  It took me an embarrassing amount of time to get dressed today and sadly my outfit was far from cute or impressive.

I don't plan on sharing one of these every week, as I am thinking there may not be big differences each week, and while it does consume my hourly thoughts I don't want this blog to be overload on pregnancy updates.  But I will share one every few weeks.  Here's last weeks:

Hope you are having a good week so far!

High Five for Friday

Photobucket
pants and shirt: kohls   jacket and shoes: target

1. As a week full of many sick days, I'm thankful for some extra outfit pictures I haven't used, like this one.  Definitely beats showing you pictures of me in sweatpants.

2. Have you heard about the Boy Meets World Sequel? Apparently they are making a spin off with Cory and Topanga's daughter called Girl Meets World.  This was my favorite childhood show and yet another reason why I want cable!

3.  My sister in law made this tree skirt last week and am I super impressed.  I told her she needs to make one for me.

4.  The company My Memories Suite generously gave me a chance to review their scrapbook software and it came at perfect timing, as I was able to use some of our pictures from getting our Christmas tree.  I had so much fun playing around with all the different options.  It was really easy to figure out and I plan on using it a lot.

Years ago I made scrapbooks and did a few for our wedding, and dating years, but I love this so much more! You can make your own scrapbook and then print it from home or use their printing company to turn it into a book.  You can also make cards, videos, photo books and more!

Here's another one I made from our trip to the Dells in the Fall.

5.  And the best part is that My Memories wants to offer one of my readers a chance to use their product too.  Enter below for a chance to win!

My Memories Suite is also giving you a code to use towards $10 off the purchase of the My Memories Suite Scrapbook software and a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store!  Just use code: STMMMS16589

Weekend Getaway

shirt: old navy (similar) pants: kohls  boots: dsw (similar)   scarf: made by my sister

Last weekend Chris and I spent three nights in Wisconsin Dells and had such a great time! This is one of the outfits I wore and I think it is one of my favorite outfits so far.

It was SO good to get away and spend time together.
The first day we were there we hiked around Devil's Lake.
It was gorgeous!

Despite being a little chilly we had such a great time hiking, sitting on the boulders and enjoying the beautiful fall scenery!

I have to say that heights are not something I am too fond of and I was quite proud of myself for climbing up to this rock.

We hiked on a path on the way up, but on the way down we crawled, jumped, went "bouldering" down these huge boulders.
It's hard to tell in the picture how big and steep they were, but let me tell you that it was a lot of work.

I really didn't mind it at the beginning.  Even enjoyed it.
However, after about 20 minutes or so of doing it I was ready to be done!
Here is my I want to give up and just sit in these rocks picture:

That night we thought we'd be really cool and find a bar that had a happy hour, have some drinks, stay out late, you know, act our age?
Let's just say we ultimately failed after getting the first happy hour restaurant's time wrong, then finding out the next restaurant had closed, among other failures.
I'll just tell you that we ended up eating at Culver's, being in our pajamas and bed by 10 and watching a movie.

The second day we were there we walked around Wisconsin Dells and found a chili cook-off.
We got to taste lots of different chili and vote for our favorites.
I only wish the tasting cups were about five times bigger.

We also went to a winery that had a band playing and wine tasting.
I loved it!

It was such a great weekend!

Colored Denim Obsession

jeans: target  boots: dsw (similar)  tee: old navy   necklace: groopdealz

It appears as though I have a new obsession for colored denim jeans.
I want to wear them all the time.

A few observations about my ability to style colored jeans:

1. These outfits together are bordering on bright color overload.

 2. I like to buy things in primary colors.

3. I wear my grey Target wedges all the time.
(At least I'm getting my $9 worth.)

4. It appears that I only wear stripes and polka dots with my colored jeans.

5. It makes me want to wear some more "subtle" tops with them.

Like this white sweater          or             this grey one:

Now what colored denim do I need next?

High Five for Friday

jeans: (kohls)   shirt: rue 21 $3 (similar)  wedges: target $8 (similar)

1.  Thanks to a 30% coupon at Kohls I got these pants for $16.  I also managed to find a dress for under $3 and a pair of pajama shorts for under $2.
I love clearance racks!

2. I plan on making these this weekend:
Baked Mini Apple Donut Holes

3.  I'm so happy I waited to buy these booties because they were only $9 at Target.
I know I've said before that I'm not a patient person but when it comes to waiting for things to go on clearance I can do that!

4. A few weeks ago a friend brought over these delicious grapes and I finally got to make my own.

All you do is wash your grapes, roll them in Jello mix and refrigerate them.
I used the flavor melon fusion.  They were SO good!

5. I'm happy September has been moving pretty quickly, as the next three months are my favorite of the year.
As it starts to get closer to October I have spots open for sponsorship.
Check here for more info.
I'd LOVE to have you next month!

Have a great weekend!
