Addilyn's Nursery

crib: amazon  rug: ikea   curtains: diy

I had full intentions of sharing Addilyn's nursery before she got here as it's been done for quite awhile, but never managed to take pictures.  Which I'd like to add that I need some lessons in taking better pictures.

Working on her nursery was so much fun and I loved being able to make so much of it.  I spent so much time thinking about what she would look like and be like the whole time I was making all her things. While she doesn't sleep in here yet, we are just starting to spend more time playing on the floor and I know we'll soon be in there lots.

glider and dresser: amazon   elephant canvases: diy

lanterns and puff balls: party city    elephant mobile: etsy (gift)

toy basket: hobby lobby (labels:diy)    bookshelf: target   bins: home depot

buckets: target dollar spot     trash can: world market

canvas: easycanvas   lamp: diy

My grandma made those little bears when her kids were little and I love that I get to put them in my baby's room.   The letter A, pink vase, and green sign were all gifts and I love that they fit so perfectly in her room.

wall decal: etsy (I painted the birds green)     bedskirt, blanket & pillow: diy

baskets: target

Do you think she needs any more clothes?  We're so lucky to have been given so many hand me downs from Chris' cousin.  I'm pretty sure Addilyn could go without wearing the same thing twice.  Lucky girl!!

  4. I love that it isn't super pink, and I love that you used green. The gray walls make it easy to transition the room as she gets older. It is so perfect!

  31. Wow, she's certainly starting out on life with an awesome closet! And the nursery is beautiful. As far as pictures go--I don't even know how it's possible to take pictures of part of a room and have it look good. It's definitely a skill I don't possess!
