Confessions

jacket: old navy    top: loft     jeggings: walmart     boots: dsw

The other day I was returning something and it was taking awhile and I apologized to the woman behind me and her response was to roll her eyes.  I wanted to take back my apologize and was also annoyed because she was staring right at Addilyn and did not tell me how cute she was.

After I came inside from taking pictures of this outfit, I bent over and ripped a part of the seam in the back of my blazer.  I can't even tell you what movie it's from or if I've seen it but all I could think of was Chris Farley singing fat man in a little suit.

I'm not even sure I really love candy corn that much but I always buy it and always eat it all.

I blame Addilyn for stealing a dog collar from Target the other day.  I found it in the bottom of the cart, under her carseat, after I had loaded her and all the groceries in the car and did not want to go back in.  I do intend to tell them next time I go and pay for it.

You already know this but I'm a fan of pretty much all reality tv, including the new show Eric and Jessie on E. Pretty shallow, dumb and unrealistic, which means it's right up my alley.

I feel like shopping with a baby gives you an excuse to look crazy and pretty much talk to yourself while you shop.   And I happily accept.

  1. Boo to the rude lady! We've done the same thing at the store too, except it was a case of pop, we went back and paid. Bummer about the blazer, and that quote is from one of my favorite movie of all time, Tommy Boy :) l

  2. I talk to myself/my babies all the time while shopping! It's totally talking mostly to myself but having a decentish reason to not look totally crazy while doing so.

And we once stole a box of tampons because it was under the carseat! Happens to the best of us.

  3. Tommy Boy! And I loved these confessions. I don't like candy corn all that much either but I always eat it! What is that about?

  4. My main goal in any and all shopping is to never ever have to return anything, it's such a miserable process. I actually love candy corn and my husband thinks I'm crazy.

  5. Ha! I love this post. I am into that new reality show too, need stuff to watch at 3am and it can't be something I need to think for!! I LOVE candy corn and eat way too much!! Luckily I can't drive right now to go buy more!!

  6. I am always the lady walking around the store talking to herself. Rarely do I ever go shopping in something other than yoga pants and a t-shirt. (When we are referring to "shopping" we mean Target and the grocery store, right? That's the only shopping I do these days.)

  7. You get a free pass.

That reminds me of Steve Martin in Father of the Bride. He bends over to open the door and his jacket splits.

I actually love the candy corn lol.

  9. I can't believe that lady. That was not very nice of her when you were being polite. It's not your fault if it was taking time to return something.

Your poor blazer, hope you can get it exchanged for another or fixed.

Too funny about the dog collar. I once left the store with a toothbrush under the plastic child seat in the cart. I went back in to pay for it, sometimes these things happen.

    Love your outfit!

  13. One of my pet peeves is when people are unnecessarily rude, especially when I'm trying to be kind! Also, I was really wondering about that show on E. I might just have to give it a shot now!

  15. Ah Eric and Jessie. I kind of hate it but I can't stop watching it! It's like a train wreck. I can't tell if they are being fake or not (esp her) but I am leaning towards yes!

  17. Wow, some people are so rude! And no comment on that adorable baby girl?? That woman was obviously having some serious eye trouble that day...
Cute outfit. I love that color boots with your mint jeggings. I don't feel like any of my boots look good with my mint skinnies... And I love your scarf! I realized the other day that I don't have a single plain colored scarf, every one I have has a pattern... Must remedy!

  19. Well, somebody had their panties in a wad that day! How rude. And yes, we have all ended up with that mystery item in our basket at some point and time. I too used to eat candy corn, can't say I loved it, but now that I am gluten free I can't eat it, so no biggie.

  27. I watched an episode of that show because it came on after a movie or something, and it wasn't that bad. I don't think I could watch it all the time, but once or twice was cute. Too funny about the dog collar!

  28. You are just the sweetest! I would have definitely taken my apology back ;)
