Link Love
I feel like I'm a little late to the party but I finally got a pair of printed winter leggings and I love them. And want three more. And they only cost $10.
I also would like this sweater in multiple colors.
Chris started making dinners on Sundays and they've turned into quite the delicious, fancy ordeal. And I love it. He has a love for special sauces and speciality cheese and has used them to make delicious meals like this beef wellington and lobster thermidor. Both of which I had no idea what they were before I asked. Needless to say it is a weekly tradition that I highly approve of and thoroughly enjoy.
One of my favorite blogging friends just started an etsy shop called live 6:10. I love her story and her passion for starting her shop and will be sharing more about it soon once my bracelet comes in the mail!
There's a new link up on instagram called #instababybabbles and I have enjoyed finding other moms on instagram. It doesn't however help with my addiction to social media.
I currently have about five things for Addilyn in my online shopping cart at gap. I probably should not buy them but I think Addilyn needs this and these. Why are baby girl clothes so cute?
I shared this week about wanting to do a baby/mama link up and to my excitement there are at least a handful that are in. I'm picking a date to start soon and will let you know!
Happy weekend to you!
Love that sweater. Especially since it is nice and long...perfect for leggings. I may have to visit Target soon to get it :)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! Totally my style and looks so comfy!
ReplyDeleteI have those cheetah print leggings you may have seen hanging around wal-mart. I love them! Scott likes to cook dinners too…but he spends a ridiculous amount of money on ingredients. Does Chris do the shopping?
ReplyDeleteI actually was given 2 pairs of patterned leggings for Christmas, and I think they're fun, though I'm not sure I could have committed to buying them for myself!
ReplyDeleteI want a pair of printed leggings SO BAD. Jordan says they look stupid. Boys are lame.
ReplyDeleteThose leggings rock the party that rocks the party - I need some for next winter!! I could be keen for some baby/mama linky parties :)
ReplyDeleteI have been eyeing leggings like that for quite some time but they are one of those things that I am concerned would look ri-dunk-o-lous on me! You pull them off. I'm also right there with you on baby clothes in carts....I have 4 different stores right now that I am this close to pushing the "purchase"button on. AND I would def link up B to your party!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I may need to get kina those pants. And I'd totally do the linkup!
ReplyDeleteI love these leggings, so pretty!

HI Katie,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to first comment on your post from 2 days ago. Believe me I understand your frustrations with blogging. I'm a Canadian blogger and i find that it's even harder. Not many bloggers want to collaborate with not a US blogger and people want to work with bloggers whos numbers are sky high. I'm slowly getting there but believe me there have been a few times in the past year where I just wanted to pack it all up.
You have to remember that your blog is supposed to be a reflection of you, not of other people. I try and remind myself of that. I want to be proud of my blog. I know my pictures could be better, working on getting a new camera, but I don't have the luxury of having someone to take my pictures nor do i have a professional camera. Plus I work shift work and have a son. Trying to juggle it all can be hard.
Just remember why you are doing it?
I like your outfits, because they are realistic. Most readers don't have a bottomless wallet and most of us can't take professional looking pictures. Keep up the good work Katie. I really like your blog. If you ever want to vent you can email me at vodkainfusedlemonade@gmail.com.
