The time my teeth fell out

scarf: discovery   sweater: old navy   jeggings: walmart  boots: dsw

I think I could wear this scarf everyday.  It has about five different patterns in it so I justify it as appropriate pattern mixing with anything I wear.

Don't correct me if I'm wrong.

In other news I had a most real dreams last night where all of my teeth came out.  Addilyn had a rough night and I ended up bringing her in bed next to my so I was dozing on and off and dreamt that it started with my front two teeth being loose and I went to touch them and they just popped right out.

Slowly all of my other teeth started cracking and falling out of my mouth.  Chris, not surprisingly, was busy eating in my dream and he had a Chipotle wrapper that I was holding all my teeth into as they fell out.  Disturbing to say the least.

I woke up convinced I had a toothless mouth and was relieved when my teeth didn't wiggle when I touched them.

My sister told me that means that I feel out of control.  Hmmmm.  Like out of control of Addilyn's sleep the last few days?  Why yes.  But in general I definitely have control issues so who knows.

This isn't the first time I've dreamt about teeth falling out but definitely the most vivid one that I hope is not repeated.

  1. I've had dreams where I had teeth fall out before too. Never my entire mouth but at least a handful each time. So strange. At least I'm not the only one!

  3. LOVE that scarf; it really does match everything!! I dreamed my teeth fell out through my entire pregnancy and was always waking up in a state of panic feeling for my teeth. Crazy dreams :)

  4. That's so crazy Katie because I also had a dream last not about teeth but it was about B's teeth! Like they just kept popping out every hour and there was something wrong with them or something. So weird bc A) I haven't dreamt in FOREVER bc one must get sleep at night in order to dream and 2) Besides the first few weeks of B's life it's strange but I have never dreamt of about it! I told my hubby this morning that I thought dreaming about teeth was good luck and then he said it meant bad financial troubles coming your way! LOL leave it up to him to always tie something to budget/money/finances!

  13. You aren't alone! I've had that dream before too-- it freaks me out! That awful feeling where my teeth fall out and disintegrate right out of the gums?! Yep...creepy! (I also have a lot of the "falling off the cliff" dreams where I have to "kick back" to get my balance...and I've been told I kick or twitch physically- oops!

  14. That's so not comforting to hear that it's because you feel out of control :( Seriously I use to dream about my teeth falling out I'd wake up screaming it freaked me out so bad! I.would.die. P.S. My front top four teeth are fake :)

  15. I've had weird dreams and slight hallucinations lately! For me, it always happens right before Will is going to be gone for a period of time.

  16. You were lucky enough not to experience any painful incident regarding falling out of your teeth, Katie. I had a similar experience and my teeth was loose in a way that when I hit it with my tongue or it moves, it causes a lot of pain. Good thing yours was just a dream. Haha! Remember to frequent trusted clinics to maintain a good oral health okay? Thanks for sharing!
