While summer is coming to an end, it's quite a different summer for me than normal as I'm not preparing to go back to school in two weeks. So with some extra summer time left here are few things I'd love to do before it ends. Starting with lots of walks with Addilyn.
Another afternoon picnic in Lake Geneva. Last time I was nine months pregnant, so I'm excited that next time we'll be bringing Addilyn with us.
Start making meals again. Summer recipes are my favorite and I slacked quite a bit in making dinner while I was pregnant.
Go to another outdoor concert like we did a month or so ago.
Have a bonfire and eat s'mores, which we have yet to do this summer.
And of course spend lots and lots of time with this sweet girl.
Today my friend Erin is sharing with you her bucket list. Remember this sweet wooden sign? Not only does Erin have a blog, but she is also super talented and makes pallet signs like the one she gave me and a bunch of other DIY projects. I want her to come to my house to make me a craft room like hers or these cute DIY shoes. Besides her crafty self, Erin is one of the sweetest blogging friends I've made and you definitely want to get to know her!

Hi for Lauren and Lauren readers! My name is Erin and I blog over at Read, Eat, Create, a lifestyle blog with a fun combo of book reviews, recipes, and trying my hand out in the DIY world. I live in Wisconsin and summers are pretty short lived here so I try to take advantage of summer as much as possible! I'm a huge list maker and every season I make a short bucket list of things I want to do. Here's a peak at what this summers list looked like!
Sometimes when you can't remember which one the hot dog is, you vote for both!
2. Take a cooking class.
3. Ride my bicycle to the farmers market a few times.
4. Drink wine while listening to music at Jazz in the Park.
5. Make a gallery wall of photos for our living room.
6. Make homemade icecream.
7. Go to Iowa to visit one of my closest friends (it’s a happy middle spot between Nebraska and Wisconsin).
8. Remember to spend more time outside rather than cooped up in my house on a gorgeous day.
9. Spend the day with my mom in Lake Geneva.
10. Host another backyard dinner and/or bonfire.
So far I've only got three things crossed off this list but I still have a month and a half to finish the rest! Do you make seasonal bucket lists? I'm always looking for new ideas to add to mine! Don't forget to swing by and say hello!
Thanks for your post Erin! I forgot that we are close enough to each other that we have the same place on our lists. We need to meet some day!
