Outfit Observations

tee and vest: jcpenney   jeans: kohls  shoes: old navy

1. When I was pregnant I feel like I wore accessories all the time.  Esepcially near the end when clothing options that fit were few and far, and accessories made outfits feel less redundant.  Now accessories seem like a pain.  Addilyn will pull on any necklace or earrings and spit up in my scarves.  Simple wins these days.

2.  I feel like this outfit is fit for Fall, not Spring.

3.  The zipper on this vest is so impractical as there is no way I'd ever manage to get it to zip up.  The studs are borderline to edge for me, but they are growing on me.

4.  And look - no snow! Hallelujah!  Maybe someday soon I'll be venturing into our yard full of dead grass to take some pictures.

A sure way to not boost your self esteem

vest: jcpenney  scarf: ?   tee: old navy  jeggings: walmart  boots: gojane

Want a sure way to make your self esteem plumate?

Watch the Bravo tv show Toned Up.

It's yet another reality tv show that sucked me in, despite the fact that I feel like I should go run miles and do a 5,000 jumping jacks instead of watching it while sitting on my couch.   Besides hating them for their toned selfs, they live by the beach, have gorgeous long hair, and are pretty funny.

So pretty much save yourself some self loathing and don't watch it.

On the plus side I did workout four times last week and then Addilyn got sick and I worked out zero times the week after.  You win some you lose some right?

Army Vest

vest: jcpenney   pants: kohls    shoes: target

I've been wanting a green military inspired vest for quite awhile.  I have this khaki vest from Old Navy and every time I think about wearing it, I think it is green, only to be disappointed when I take it out of my closet and realize it is not.

So I was quite happy when I found this vest at JCPenney a few weeks ago and happier when it was only $10.  And this outfit is one of those that is full of deals that I am pretty proud of.  These pants were less than $8 from Kohls and I found these ankle boots at Target last year for $9.

Now if you wanted to copy this shirt you'd have to go back to about 1999 and find it from American Eagle.  I think it may be time to replace shirts I bought in high school.
