Link Love

sweater: target   jeans: old navy   boots: justfab    scarf: ebay

I got this cute sweatshirt from Target awhile ago for only $6.  I love it.

I ordered another blanket scarf from ebay for less than $9 with shipping, after I got used to this one's massive size.

I recently made this thai peanut pork in the crock pot and these caramel peanut butter bars.  Both were easy and delicious.

After attending the IF Gathering last weekend there are many books on my list to read.  I just borrowed Love Does and need to buy Interrupted so I can read it soon.

I got these three wooden arrows from groopdealz and stained them and hung them up for a gallery wall in our bedroom.  I have one more thing to add and then I am done!

The drama on the Bachelor is almost embarrassing, yet I am beyond thrilled that it is on two days next week.  Also excited that 19 Kids and Counting comes back too.  Quite the conflicting shows.

Hope you all are having a great week!

Slippery Slope

top: online boutique    lace tunic: jane.com   leggings: costco   boots: zulily   scarf: ebay

It's a very slippery slope when it comes to wearing leggings as pants for me these days.  Thankfully this lacy tunic tank top makes it a little more acceptable.   But really.  Someone should pull me back because I'm dangling right on the edge at least a few days a week.

I jumped on the blanket scarf train, but stuck to my cheap ways and found this scarf on ebay.  It was $11 and took awhile to come, which not surprisingly I was really excited to get it but then took forever to wear it once I got it.  I felt like it swallowed me and was way too big but I clearly got over that.

We went and saw Santa on Saturday and I debated about even going because I was sure Addilyn would just cry.  And while those pictures are kind of amusing to me I felt like waiting in line, standing in the cold all for her to scream when I put her on a strangers lap, seemed not so worth it and a little mean.  But it worked out great because we met our friends there and didn't wait long at all.  Plus Addilyn was so happy about getting a candy cane she sat on his lap for a few seconds checking out his beard. She reached for me pretty quickly but no tears and a super happy toddler with a candy cane.   So I'm glad we went!

And I can't resist comparing to last years pictures . . .

I can't even believe how much changes in a year and how fast time is going!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
