Teen Drama

dress: francesca's   boots: dsw  necklace: kohls

Lately my taste in tv shows aligns with an eighth grade girl.
This summer I watched
90210
Gossip Girl
and
Pretty Little Liars.

I felt overly sad when I finished them and thankfully recently found One Tree Hill.
I am already halfway through the second season.

And I'm looking forward to new episodes of 90210 and Gossip Girl to start.
Can anyone else relate to my teen drama love?

Want to know something that is probably more exciting than teen dramas?

Then check out these two fabulous blogs.

First up is Katie.

Besides sharing a name, we also share a love for colored jeans, maxi dresses, good deals and finding new ways to wear clothes.  Although Katie is way better at refashioning her clothes and shares how she remixes her outfits weekly.  She can also relate to some compliment fails from her significant other.   And she can rock a top bun that makes me jealous.

And secondly we have Julee and Kim.

Kim and Julee make me wish I lived in Louisville because they started the D.I.Y. Lousiville group where ladies can get together to work on different projects.  Food, crafts, girls? Sounds like something I want to be a part of!  These ladies are pretty much professional DIYers and blog about projects they do, parties they plan and weekly fashion posts.

Luckily I can multitask and read these sweet blogs and watch my teen dramas at the same time.

Currently

 dress: target  necklace: c/o Anjolee

Currently I could wear a maxi dress every day.

Especially one that has pockets.

Currently I am rocking some pretty bad tan lines.

Currently I am spending quite a bit of time watching different tv series
like 90210, Real World and 24.

Currently I am eating left over magic monster cookie bars that I made earlier this week.

Recipe here

Currently I am loving this new beautiful necklace from Anjolee jewelry.

I was so excited when Anjolee contacted me to review one of their jewelry pieces.

After much debating between so many beautiful options, I choose a diamond pendant necklace with 7 graduated diamonds in silver with an 18 inch chain. Their site lets you customize your jewelry choice and I had fun playing around with different options.  You can pick your metal type, gem color, quality and size.
My necklace arrived in a beautiful wooden box and I was thrilled when I opened it.
It is definitely one of the nicer pieces of jewelry that I now own.

Anjolee also has a beautiful collection of diamond anniversary rings and engagement rings.
I have few pieces of "fancy" jewelry and I am really excited to add this necklace to my collection!

Hope you had a great weekend!

5 Things Friday

1. I have been wanting to buy a pair of colored pants for months.
Really the only pair I've tried on was at Target and they felt and looked like bright red spandex
and I took them off as fast as I could.
To my happy surprise I forgot that I had these pants from many, many years ago in the back of my closet.
While I still want some skinny, colored jeans I am happy to have some colored pants to wear!

Shirt & Necklace:  Old Navy     Pants: Express

2. Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies
I made these last week and they were delicious!
(and very easy)

3. Check out these adorable photos.
A friend of mine who is talented photographer and mother of adorable twin girls
took these pictures with some of the headbands from my shop.
I can't get over how cute they are!

4. Survivor
I'm about 90% proud that I've seen every single episode of Survivor and am an extreme loyal fan.
I'm so happy that the new season has started.

5. I saw this picture on pinterest and I miss Friends.
I think it's time I get out my seasons of Friends and watch some this weekend.

"Could I BE wearing any more clothes?"

Happy Friday!

A few years behind

I saw this shirt on a few bloggers in the last month and was so excited when I found it at Old Navy during one of their big after Christmas sales.  It was funny because my sister and I were walking through the store, seeing and talking about all these things that different bloggers had worn.  Wait . .  is that funny or a little pathetic?  Talking about all these girls weekly outfits that we don't really know yet talk about as if we're friends?

Thanks to netflix I am hooked on watching all the episodes of Felicity.  I  know I'm quite a few years behind but had never watched this show.  I am loving it!  I just got to the episode were she cuts off all her hair and remember hearing about all the drama that came with that when it was on.  I personally think it was a poor decision - I miss her long hair!

Were you a Felicity lover? Are there any older shows that you are currently watching?  Not that I'm close to the end, but I'll need another show lined up, as I get depressed when the one I'm watching ends.

Happy weekend!
