hat: shop in Lake Geneva, WI shirt: banana republic outlet shorts: old navy
1. I am definitely not a hat person but had wanted a fedora for a long time.
I felt pretty comfortable wearing it on a boat (okay, I actually felt really cool wearing it on a boat).
But am still not so confident about wearing it out.
2. I made this fabric bracelet a few weeks ago, following this tutorial.
I love it and want to make more in other colors.
3. I have been busy with lots of sock monkey orders!
I am temporarily not using my etsy shop, but still want to do orders through paypal for now.
If you are interested in a sock monkey or any of my other items please send me an email!

4. With only 2 weeks before school starts (YIKES!) I am determined to do some fun things next week, along with being in my HOT classroom setting up for the new year.
Hopefully another day or two laying out somewhere will be included.
5. We just got back from camping tonight!
While I did miss my shower, bathroom, internet and air conditioning, I had such a good time.
I'm sure I'll share lots of pictures next week, but for now here's one of my favorites:

Hats can feel a little funny the first time you wear them, but I think you're rockin it! Those monkeys are adorable...but I would feel weird buying one for myself. Maybe when I have a baby :) looks like a fun trip, I'm excited to see more pictures of you and your babies!!

I'm really loving that fedora! You look ultra cool in the fedora and that zebra swimsuit! I've been scared to get one too. I feel like I'd be that one person that looks like a total dork.
Your niece & nephew are really cute! How old are they?

Glad you had fun camping!! I LOVE the fedora and likewise have wanted one for a while. I just don't know if I could pull it off?? Good to know it at least works on the beach :)
p.s. Love your suit - where is it from?
I'm so with you on the fedora - I've always wanted to wear one but never felt cool enough. You are rockin' it! And I love your bracelet!!
I got my first fedora this year too and although it took a while to get used to seeing myself in it, I absolutely love it! And I love love love that bathing suit, you look awesome!!
That bracelet is so cute! I love it :-)
I haven't commented for a while, so excuse the unacceptable length of this comment :)
1. I love the fedora! It brings the whole t-shirt and shorts to another level. I wanted a fedora for like, ever, and I got one last year at JC Penney for $2 (down from $25 because of coupons. WOOT!), and I wear it a ton! My uncle thinks that I look like a journalist with my camera and my hat all the time. He even made me a "Press" tag!
2. The bracelet is SO pretty! I'd totally make it, except I hate sewing with a passion. Well it's not the actual sewing, it's the whole pattern cutting out and stuff, so this might not be all that bad! Who knows, maybe I'll just use the same t-shirt that I used for the headband!
3. Ah, so exciting! Can I have one for my birthday!? (Just kidding, I'll make my mom buy it)
4. No. Don't even talk about school. Let's just not go there. Target was being very cruel to me, advertising all this dumb stuff. On the upside, I got some pretty composition books and a cute backpack.
5. You will be the best mother ever. Seriously.
