I may never have enough scarves.   I may never do a vlog.  Mostly because I don't want to type the word vlog again.  It's in the same category as the word jeggings.  That and I have no desire to film myself and listen to it.  It's awkward enough taking pictures of myself. 
I may never not get nervous talking in front of a group of adults.  But eight year olds I can handle.    
I may never learn how to really apply make up.  My routine is the same if I'm going grocery shopping, to work or to a wedding.  I need help. 
I may never like eating real food over desserts, like this one that I recently made.
  

I may never love Mondays.  Hope you have a good start to the week!

High Five for Friday

1. I realized that I have many pairs of colored tights but have not worn them nearly enough.  That needs to change!

3.  We watched the Survivor finale this week and Jeff Probst reminded us that there have been 12 years, 25 seasons of Survivor.  And I reminded myself that I have watched every single episode of those 25 seasons.  And while I should feel slightly embarrassed, I am instead proud.    

4. My sister and her family come in Saturday!  I am SO excited to spend time with my family. Maybe I can try again to get a picture of my niece and nephew together, as I failed miserably last year.

Instagram Love

I'm quite excited that it is time to wear socks under boots again.  It took me a little while to feel confident wearing them like this, but I'm ready to take advantage of Fall weather and wear them often!

Like I'm sure the majority of you are, I am in love with instagram.

It amazes me that I can take a picture of my dessert, food or shoes and they amazingly look 100 times cooler when I put a filter on them and post them in square collage on my phone. 

Somewhat deceptive and not accurate of real life. But I love it.

But here's some pictures from the last week or so.  

We spent this last weekend in Galena with Chris' family.  It was the cutest town ever and we loved it!

I've started taking classes at the gym and am really enjoying it.  My favorite so far is kickboxing and a strength and conditioning class.   I should probably dedicate a whole post on my thoughts on group workouts.

My sister texted me this picture yesterday of my nephew wearing the sweatshirt I gave him. I miss that boy so much! 

I bought this shirt at Target for $6 a week or so ago and I love it.  If I had a better phone or was more talented I'd take a picture of the back because it has a cute zipper on top. 

I may have successfully attempted pattern mixing last week.  Outfit post to come. 

Today I got to be part of this sweet boy's baptism.  I felt quite honored to become a godmother.
