The high today is - 3 and our ground is covered with snow. Very much different than these pictures. It finally looks like Winter around here.
I finished Gilmore Girls and if it wasn't the day before Christmas Eve when I watched the last episode I probably would've mourned for days. I loved that show, but feel kind of guilty when I look how many episodes there were and how fast I watched them. Now I often did other things while I watched, but still. Perhaps some reading and quiet to fill nap times and evening for awhile.
But Friends on Netflix will be competing for my attention.
I just finished the Nesting Place and absolutely loved it. I already have been spending a lot of time this year doing things around our house, but am motivated even more. So I need more books. I should probably read a book about parenting a toddler so recommendations please!

I don't have any books to recommend about parenting a toddler, but I just picked up a few books from the library today. I got the titles from this list:http://ohamanda.com/2014/12/30/top-3-books-of-2014/
Would you believe me if I said I've never watched a full episode of Gilmore Girls!?! ;) I knowww. I love that skirt you've got on!! :)
Have you watched Friday Night Lights? Downton Abbey?
I'm the same as Kayla ^...I've never even seen one episode of Gilmore Girls. So crazy.
Have you read any of Jenny Han's books? They are SO good! Easy reads but super enjoyable.
How are there people alive who haven't seen Gilmore girls?
That aside. I liked part of happiest toddler on the block. I didn't finish it (shh!) but felt like it helped explain how to get on their level which I appreciate. Toddlerhood is tough dude, at least over here.
I loved the nesting place and am reading breathing room right now which I consider life changing. Soo good and highly recommend.
Have you read Jen Hatmaker's 7? I just finished it and loved it. Though it has nothing to do with parenting a toddler. I have never seen a single Gilmore Girls episode.
Have you read anything by Jonathan Tropper? One of his books was just made into a movie- "This is Where I Leave You"- and both the book and the movie were incredible. He has a lot of others, too, but my favorites are "Plan B" and "How to Talk to A Widower" :)
I love GG! I seriously thought I was the only one who loved that series and then when it came out of netflix and everyone was talking about it, so glad I"m not the only one. I think I've watched through the series almost 3 times! Addictive I tell ya! Sorry no advice on toddler books, I'm too busy watching GG, j/k.
I'm so excited that Friends is on Netflix, but it is also dangerous! Haha. It's not a book recommendation, but I just finished listening to the Serial podcasts and really enjoyed them. Something different!
Friends is on Netflix?!?!! WHAT?!?! My life just got incredibly better.

It might be a bit early for you but I've been reading 123 Magic and it's quite effective for discipline.
