An overdue post about one of my favorite weeks!

I do not know why it took me so long to write this post!  Maybe because I had a hundred pictures to go through, or maybe because I'm sad it went so fast and I want this week back.  In April, my friend Liz and Emma flew out from New York to visit Addilyn and I.  I still can't believe they really came! Liz and I were pregnant at the same time and met through our blogs.  We were friends, but definitely not close friends until I went on a family trip to Canada and she left a comment on my instagram saying "Hey! You're close to me, come visit!"  We exchanged numbers and Chris had a business meeting near her town and we met for lunch.  After that we started texting every day and she quickly became one of my best friends.  

We text all the time.  Laugh at each other's days, encourage each other, pray for each other and love each other and each other's girls.  I think about how crazy it is that we met through our blogs, and I think if nothing else came out of my blog but this friendship it'd be worth it.  I think it's amazing how God puts together friendships, and I'm so thankful for Liz and her friendship.  

I'm so thankful she made the trip out here just for us.  Flying with a toddler, and being pregnant. I sure felt loved!  We had such a great time together.  There was a tiny part of me that was worried. We had never spent more than an hour together and would be spending four days together.  But there wasn't a minute that didn't feel comfortable and easy.  Our girls loved each other (for the most part) and it went by way too fast.  Here's some pictures from our week.
