. . . for Lauren and Lauren: Two-faced and Afraid

Two-faced and Afraid

scarf: made by my sister-in-law   sweater: old navy   jeggings: walmart  boots: dsw

I used to be the biggest scrouge when it came to listened to Christmas music, but I am more than making up for it and want it on all the time.  Even though I listen to music quite often, I have never been very good at remembering song lyrics.  Actually a lot of times I can't even understand what singers are saying.  I honestly don't think it's that I'm hard of hearing because I think I hear pretty well.  Although maybe years of using ear plugs because of Chris' snoring is slowly damaging my ears.

What to blame it on? I don't know.  But because of this I often get song lyrics wrong, making for very confusing messages.

Like the song "Winter Wonderland." Growing up I was convinced that the words "to face unafraid, the plans that we made" was really "two-faced and afraid."

Obviously that doesn't make any sense, but clearly I never thought that through and am not even sure the age where I realized I was wrong.  I'm going to say it was probably years after incorrectly singing lyrics is cute.

Haha...I love it! For years and years I thought that the song from "Father of the Bride" was "going to the jack o lantern, gonna get married" instead of "going to the chapel of love". That made zero sense too but I was convinced. Glad I'm not alone in this!

Cute outfit! And you need to watch the Youtube video - I think it's called Billy on the Street or whatever - but watch the one where he's caroling on the streets with Amy Poehler. SO FUNNY. (and goes to show that not very many people know the lyrics to the popular Christmas carols!)

LOL! That is hilarious. I often get lyrics wrong too, but it doesn't stop me from singing them at the top of my lungs (only at home or in the car!) My husband always makes fun of me for it!
I love this outfit. The boots are awesome! And you look great in blue.

Haha I'm terrible with lyrics that all run together and I'm sure there are SO many songs I still sing wrong. Oh well. So glad you like Christmas music now! We can now be friends again. Hahaha.

Very cute outfit! I love the scarf!

I am terrible at lyrics. I have to go and look and read them over and over or I will continue to sing them wrong. :)
