. . . for Lauren and Lauren: I Couldn't live without . . . thank you cards

I Couldn't live without . . . thank you cards

I go through phases of being really good at writing thank you notes, or letters in general, and I'm currently in a not so good phase.  So I am really thankful for some pretty new cards to get me motivated!
My mom was always really good when we were little, making us write notes for gifts we received and I think it set a great example.  I want to do the same with Addilyn, even if it means her scribbling on a card and myself writing the rest.  I so appreciate people sending us things, especially things for Addilyn.  My grandma is so good at remembering things, like cards on Valentines day, or a cute dress just because.  I wish I was better at writing notes right away, and that is my new goal!

Nicole from NicoleKelly Creations sent me these beautiful cards.  They are blank inside, which I always choose when I buy cards so that I can write whatever I want.  Plus they come with pretty matching envelopes.

Nicole has some other great things in her shop, like these hello weekend stickers (only $3.50!) and cupcake stickers for your calendar or planner.  Plus party invitations and birthday wreaths.  She is just starting out her shop, and I was happy to help spread the word!  She is giving readers a 10% discount using code FORLAURENANDLAUREN.  Check out her shop here!

Thank you Nicole! Now if I could just get them into the mailbox or to the post office once I write them! That is my other problem.  Why does the post office feel so hard?

A girl after my own heart!! I LOVE writing and receiving thank you notes. I've got a stack I need to work on right now. I always include Olive in the "writing" process and her message looks very similar to Addilyns. I usually let her do the envelope and now she insists on me tracing her hand on every card I write. Guess I've done one too many handprint projects with her - haha. Those are adorable cards so I know anyone would be excited to see one show up in their mailbox.

I love Thank You cards! And just plain note cards in general. During Lent, instead of giving something up, I wrote letters to friends, telling them why I cherish them as a friend, and I can't tell you how many people wrote back and said it just made their day to get a random letter in the mail :) I need to do it throughout the year, not just during a specific time of year.
