He is Risen
While I feel like I generally try to have a thankful attitude for all that God has give me, I fail to think about and appreciate the magnitude of the greatest gift we've been given. It's so easy for me to let these days leading up holidays pass without much thought about the reason we are celebrating.
Without a doubt the thing that I am most thankful for, and often take for granted, is that God sent His perfect Son to pay the price for my sins so that I could spend eternity with Him.
Reminded on this day of the price He paid for my sins and praising God for the greatest gift I could be given.
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. (2 Colossians 2:13-14)
Happy Easter!
He is Risen. He is Risen indeed.

Amen! Thankful for this reminder. Every day is a day to celebrate, but it's nice to have a time to specifically focus on it.
Happy Easter my friend!!!
That first paragraph was just what I needed to read!
Today I was a big old ball of stress because I had the in-laws coming over for dinner--I wanted everything to be perfect, and it turned out totally fine. But I left that sense of celebration and thankfulness at church this morning because I let my expectations and fears take hold.
Thanks for a great reminder!
Amen and amen! I too, often think that as Christians, we underestimate the vast amount of love that was showed that day on the Cross. And we truly won't understand until we get to Heaven. But it was such a joyous day and we should continue to rejoice daily! Happy Easter!
He is risen, indeed! I love this sweet reminder. We don't stop enough and think about how big his sacrifice was. I hope y'all had the BEST Easter!
