It's no secret that I have a major sweet tooth and I've mentioned before that I needed to do something about it as I think about eating desserts and want to eat them all day long. I decided that I would do my very best to not eat any during the month of January and am extremely proud of myself for being successful so far.
I should say that I am not cutting out any sugar, but more so desserts. Which is why I've made banana bread a few times and donuts twice this month. Breakfast foods. Not dessert right? Baby steps here.
I even have a box of Mike and Ike's sitting on my counter that my mother in law brought me on one of the many days we were stuck and home. Still unopened. Now that is restraint.
Addilyn ironically starting sleeping even worse than before since New Years, which is when I stopped eating desserts. Which makes me believe she is having some sort of sugar withdrawal and although I know that can't be true I think maybe it is.
Love your sleep and sweet deprived friend,

I gave up sweets once. It lasted 4 hours between lunch and dinner.
I need to do the same...give up sweets. However, the stores are plotting against me because they already have candy hearts out. Maybe after Easter...
You can do this!!!! :) I'm glad you aren't depriving yourself though...a girls still gotta have her donuts!! ;)
I love this!
I am hosting a giveaway on my blog that ends next week!

Have a GREAT week!
Ever since I had Landyn I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I never used to eat them pre baby. I need to follow your lead girl. You look adorable as always xoxo
I'm the same as you - obsessed with sugar! I am trying to cut it out totally this month, which is a huge challenge. I normally always bake muffins and cookies, and not baking OR eating is getting to me. Good luck! We'll be healthier for it… right?!
I keep telling myself to knock it off with the sweets. Last night, I had an urge to bake and thought I was being "healthy" by making bran muffins (which still have a decent amount of sugar in them).
I'm so sorry she's not sleeping well. Hang in there, mama!
haha "love your sleep deprived friend..." so silly :) Sorry about the sugar withdraws, but you are doing amazing. Look at that restraint!
I gave up sugar when my daughter was 7 months old, and it REALLY helped kick my weight loss into gear! It worked so well I ended up getting pregnant again ;-) But now I'm back on the no-sugar train.... the first 2 weeks are the worst, but then after every time I eat something sweet I get sick so it really does work!
I don't think I could give up dessert! I need a little something sweet to snack on every day.

In love with that scarf...and colors together! :)
LOVE this outfit!!! It is sooooo pretty, the colors are perfect together. :) And good luck with no sweets!!!! It sounds so hard, but worth it
More power to you! Banana bread and doughnuts are definitely breakfast foods, totally don't count. :)
I have a huge sweet tooth too--I usually go for chocolate. I literally have some form of it every day. Ugh. I would like to give it up for a month but that would be way to hard lol. Banana bread has fruit in it so I wouldn't say it's a sweet either haha! LOVE that scarf too!

Funny, I am eating candy hearts secretly as I read this. I am pulling them out of a secret pouch I created in my scarf so that my 4 & 6 year old don't ask me to share with them! I think I have a problem!
Wow, good for you, girl!!! I have to say, though, I'm right there with you - breakfast foods are NOT sweets! ;-)
Hmmm I need to try that for the month of February! It's going to be hard.
Love your outfit!
You are a brave woman. I should probably do this, too. I've started working out to shake off the remaining baby weight, but it makes it hard to see results without kicking the desserts, too. You are my inspiration in this!
