. . . for Lauren and Lauren: Double Denim

May 6, 2014

Double Denim

top: jcpenny   jeans: old navy   shoes: ?   necklace: old navy

I feel like its much fewer and farther between these days that I find an outfit that I really like.  The biggest part of that is due to the fact that my day to day far requires me to get dressed for real, and I spend so much less time getting ready.  But this outfit I really like.

I know I've read people who say that getting dressed for the day regardless of if they are going anywhere, makes them feel more energized and ready for the day.  While a shower may do that for me, I have to say if I'm staying home there is no way I am getting dressed in jeans or "real clothes."

I know denim and denim is old news and I'm late to the game.  But this statement necklace? I got it at Old Navy for $2 way before statement necklaces were "in" so I was at least ahead of the game in something.

This is really cute and comfortable looking! Some days I have to change pjs to get a little motivated, but you better believe I just migrate to comfier pants.

I am with you on not getting dressed in real clothes if I am home! No need for me! I wear my "play clothes" just like my boys!

You look fabulous!! I have trouble getting out of my running pants most days, so I have been participating in a style challenge on IG. I thought I would have to force myself, but it is really fun!! It is fun to see how other ladies are styling their pieces too!! Happy Wednesday! Susan

I really like the denim on denim! I think the necklace totally makes the outfit. I can't ever put on jeans to just sit around the house either. Heck, I can barely put on jeans if I'm leaving the house. I wish I was one of those people who gets all polished and put together in the morning, but my hair just being left down is a good day for me lol

I love this denim on denim look. I am totally with you, I definitely do not get out of my PJs or Yoga pants when I know I am staying home all day. But this is a great outfit for everyday and I love that necklace, the perfect pop of color.

XoXo,
Nicole
