. . . for Lauren and Lauren: When you're too tired . . . .

April 25, 2016

When you're too tired . . . .

I'm acquiring a good list of things I've done as a result of being too tired.  For example mailing a thank you card with no address:

Apparently not reading the pacifier color on Amazon.  So sorry Isaac.  I'm too tired to return them.

To stop Addilyn from blowing bubbles whenever she drinks milk.

To make her wait until these rain boots fits her.  My desire to battle toddler clothing choices is very very little these days.

To do my hair in another other than a messy bun.

I know I'm not alone.  Tell me something you're doing because you're too tired.

This is a great list! I remember putting the cereal box in the fridge during the newborn tiredness fog. :)

Letting my son play with play dough in the family room in front of the tv. Yeah, perhaps not the best. But...tired. ;-)

I think every parent can relate to this. My kids have definitely had some interesting outfits that just weren't worth the fight. :-)

I've tried to put a size 4 diaper on the newborn more than a few times. And Lawter has won breakfast batte and had fruit snacks as her meal twice so far

Ok, so not only is my hair in a messy bun, it is also doused in dry shampoo... Who has time to shower? I've ended up showering with my toddler in the evenings lately.
I also have started using a towel under Noah's potty, so I don't have to clean the floor everytime and can just wash the towel... I'm blaming csection for this one.
I read other people's blogs lately and wonder how are these people soo organized... I feel like my life is soo chaotic lately. I blame the renovation and the fact that my husband doesn't get home until 7 pm most nights with the spring rush. Oh and a newborn. I'm totally picking my battle these days and coasting through the days! I am soo glad to read a post about someone NOT having it all together haha. Thank you for that friend!!
