I Couldn't Live Without . . . . Coffee bar

This is my new favorite spot in our house!  I've wanted a coffee bar in my dining room for awhile, but thought because I didn't have much space it wouldn't work.  We had a bulkier, taller cabinet piece there before that we got eight years ago and it was honestly just full of junk.  So it was good to condense it all to two little drawers.  Plus I love the storage space and bins underneath.

I looked at a ton of places (mostly online) for a table that was short enough to fit but that was open at the bottom and finally found this one at Home Goods.  The straw basket was from the clearance section there for $9, and I just glued the chalkboard sign on it.  The other basket on the right is from TJMaxx.

The EAT letters are from Target a few years ago, and I spray painted it yellow since we changed the colors in our dining room/living room area.  The chalkboard is from Hobby Lobby and came on a roll and just sticks on the wall, which is way easier than chalkboard paint and only cost $4.  I saw a lot of pins and looked around a lot for something to hang on the wall that could hold my K-cups and hang mugs from.  There was one I loved from Hobby Lobby but it was over $100 and way too big for my space.  This is a shower caddy thing I found at Home Goods for $15, and I bought little S hooks from Home Depot for $2.

The candle is from Target, elephant creamer (holds my chalk right now) from Pier One, and the glass decoration is from Ross.

Everything (minus the table) was cheap and I love how it turned out.  Coffee mugs make me happy and I love having my favorite ones hanging on here for me to see.  And coffee in the morning makes me even happier and I don't know what I'd do without it in the morning!

I'm excited for another link up and look forward to reading what you can't live without this week! Thanks for linking up!

Ok, see, now you're just making me want to knock out a wall in my kitchen to extend the space JUST for a coffee bar area ;)

SO so cute! I've been wanting this in my house too. Since our kitchen is so tiny, we don't have a lot of counter space for coffee stuff so something tucked away in the corner like this would be perfect! :)

Caleb and I both talking about having a bar cart/coffee cart in our apartment but with no hardwood floors it wouldn't look right I don't think. Yours is PERFECT! I love it.

Love your coffer bar! We have a coffee station on our counter in the kitchen but someday I dream of a whole counter for all of our stuff.

What a perfect spot in your house! I imagine it gets a lot of use and could easily be a hot chocolate bar or a dessert bar for parties. Great set up!!
